These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Simple Biz Software Solutions website and your engagement of our consulting services, including our SMS messaging program. By engaging our services or opting in to receive text messages, you agree to these Terms.
Services
Simple Biz Software Solutions provides custom software and technology consulting services, including custom business systems, AI project finishing and hardening, responsible AI workflow design, process automation, security work, systems integration, and ongoing software management. We provide professional services only and do not sell physical goods.
Engagements, payment, refunds, and cancellation
- Contracts are negotiated up front. Payments are non-refundable once agreed. Deposits may be required and are non-refundable unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
- Cancellation — work must be canceled before the project or engagement begins. If work has started, the full payment amount is due.
- Promotions — we do not currently offer promotional terms or discounts.
- Legal compliance — services are provided in accordance with applicable U.S. laws and regulations.
SMS and text-messaging program terms
Program name: Simple Biz Software Solutions SMS Notifications.
Program description: When you opt in, you will receive recurring automated text messages related to active engagements, including appointment and consultation reminders, project status updates, deliverable notifications, billing notices, and post-meeting feedback requests.
How to opt in: Consent is obtained directly from you, either verbally during a scheduled consultation call or in writing by email to nicholas@simplebizsoftware.com. We do not collect SMS consent through web forms or third parties.
Message frequency: Frequency varies based on your active engagements.
Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Simple Biz does not charge for the messages themselves; charges from your mobile carrier are your responsibility.
Help: Reply HELP to any message or email nicholas@simplebizsoftware.com.
Opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one final confirmation message, after which no further messages will be sent. You may also opt out by email or by telling a Simple Biz representative during a call.
Carrier disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your mobile carrier and device.
Privacy: Mobile information and SMS consent are handled according to our Privacy Policy and are never shared with third parties for marketing.
Intellectual property
All content on this website is the property of Simple Biz Software Solutions and may not be reproduced without permission. Deliverables produced under a consulting engagement are governed by the applicable signed agreement.
Limitation of liability
This website and our messaging program are provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simple Biz Software Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or participation in our SMS program.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Simple Biz Software Solutions operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
